World Early Childhood Conference Dornach 2012
"The Journey of the 'I into life - a final destination or a path towards freedom"
A warm invitation to our World Early Childhood Conference that will take place from April 1 -5, 2012 in Dornach!
This will be a very special event in many ways:
- Waldorf early childhood education is practiced today in diverse cultures on all continents of the globe. If as many of you as possible come to Dornach well prepared with questions, ideas and experiences, we will be able to take home new impulses and fresh forces for our work with children, through our encounters and conversations at the conference.
- The World Teachers Conference that will take place just after the conclusion of our conference will take up the same theme : the mystery of the connection between the Spirit Being and the Bodily Being (Steiner). Thus a great number of educators around the world will be working with this central question for Waldorf education at the same time.
- Nearly 70 lecturers and workshop leaders from 15 different countries will share the treasures of their experiences with us.
- Many of us will undertake great financial efforts to make this conference possible : the participants coming from great distances, the sponsors who offer donations for travel support, and the presenters, who all ( !) have offered to forgo an honorarium to make this possible !
With best wishes and joyous anticipation for this great international gathering,
We send greetings in the name of the IASWECE Council members,
Claudia Freytag, Brigitte Goldmann, Susan Howard, Philipp Reubke, Jacqueline Walter-Baumgartner
