Movement Games

An international working group founded by the late Klara Hatterman from Hannover, Germany, has met for many years to work with movement and gesture games artistically developed by Professor Wilma Ellersiek for the young child. These movement activities were intended as an antidote to the negative effects of the materialistically oriented approach to life that surrounds the young child today. They bring love and joy and create possibilities for a lively and intimate activity between adults and children.

Instructions for the games have been published in German and English, and are being translated into French, Russian, Spanish, Swedish, Chinese, and other languages.
However, they are best learned in person, through workshops and courses, where they can be brought to life artistically and in accord with the original intentions of Wilma Ellersiek.  The working group has taken on this task and the Ellersiek games are now being learned and played in Europe, North and South America, Africa, Australia and Asia.
